• Julia, Boğaz ne kadar güzel, değil mi? Sence nasıl? Sen ne düşünüyorsun? Julia, how nice the Bosphorus is, isn't it? What's it like, in your opinion? What do you think about it?
• Evet Melis, haklısın. Bence de Boğaz harika bir yer. Yes Melis, you're right. I also think the Bosphorus is a great place.
• Sen İstanbul'u seviyor musun? o you like Istanbul?
• Evet, çok seviyorum. Bence İstanbul dünyadaki en güzel şehirlerden biri. Ama İstanbul'daki trafik gerçekten çok kötü. Sence de öyle değil mi? Yes, I like it a lot. I think Istanbul is one of the nicest cities in the world. But the traffic in Istanbul is really bad. Don't you think so?
• Kesinlikle! Burası çok kalabalık bir şehir ve çok fazla araba var. Peki senin şehrin? Orası da İstanbul kadar kalabalık mı? Absolutely! This is a very crowded city and there are too many cars. What about your city? Is that also as crowded as Istanbul?

Yes, the restaurants in London are more expensive than Istanbul. Istanbul is cheaper than London. Especially eating in Istanbul is cheaper than eating in London.

• Kışın Londra İstanbul'dan daha soğuk ve yağmurlu. Yazın ise daha serin. Yani daha az sıcak. In the winter, London is colder and rainier than Istanbul. And in the summer, it is cooler. I mean, it is less hot.
• Öyle mi? O zaman bu yaz Londra'ya gidiyoruz, çünkü "Bu yaz İstanbul hamam gibi olacak," diyorlar. Really (Is that so)? Then we are going to London this summer, because they say "Istanbul is going to be like a hammam (as hot as a hammam) this summer."
