"Either" in Turkish
What is "either?
"Either ... or ..." connects two choices. We use "either ... or ..." to connect items which are the same grammatical type, e.g. words, phrases, clauses.
"Either ... or ..." is "Ya ... Ya da ..." in Turkish. For example:
- Ya Ali ya da Ayşe İngilizce biliyor. Either Ali or Ayşe knows English.
- Ben ya kahve (içiyorum), ya da çay içiyorum. I drink either coffee or tea.

"Neither" in Turkish
What is "neither"?
The opposite of "Either ... or ..." is "Neither ... nor ...". We use it to make negative statements connecting items.
"Neither ... nor ..." is "Ne ... ne de ..." in Turkish. For example:
- Ne Ali ne de Ayşe İngilizce biliyor. Neither Ali nor Ayşe knows English.
- Ben ne kahve (içiyorum), ne de çay içiyorum. I drink neither coffee nor tea.

What is "both"?
"Both ... and ..." is used for emphasizing that each of two things is true.
"Both ... and ... " is "Hem ... hem de ..." in Turkish. For example:
- Hem Ali hem de Ayşe İngilizce biliyor. Both Ali and Ayşe knows English.
- Ben hem kahve (içiyorum), hem de çay içiyorum. I drink both coffee and tea.
