“ISTANBUL Language Trips” is a Turkish language trip for expats or tourists who want to take short Istanbul trips with his / her Turkish language teacher, practice and improve their Turkish language while strolling around the city and experiencing the life in Istanbul.

ISTANBUL Language Trips are for;
- Expats who lives in Istanbul and wanting to practice Turkish at social times
- Tourists who are learning Turkish and want to practice Turkish at social times during their visit.
How to take ISTANBUL Language Trips
Simply buy hours from Dem Turkish Center bookstore online. You can buy 2, 3 or 4 hours a day (At least 2 hours a day is recommended).
After buying your hours, your teacher will contact you to schedule and plan your Turkish language trip in Istanbul.
How to plan your Turkish language trip
- Make a rough plan with your Turkish teacher.
- Plan where to meet, where to go, what to do, etc.
- Meet at a local point just like meeting a local friend and start your Turkish language trip with your Turkish language teacher.
Where to go in Istanbul
Meet your Turkish teacher at central areas in Istanbul, like Istiklal Street, Sultanahmet, Beşiktaş, Kadıköy etc.
What to do during your Turkish language trip
Meet your your Turkish teacher and start your trip as planned.
Now you can walk around and chat, go sit at a cafe, drink tea or coffee and chat, have a meal at a restaurant and practice ordering food, go shopping and practice shopping for clothes, visit museums, historical places and talk about them and many more.
All in Turkish, just like a local!
Please remember;
The idea is to speak Turkish language while strolling around in Istanbul, so try to speak Turkish as much as possible.
Your Turkish teacher will only speak English when he needs to explain some words or grammar points you have difficulty in.
What happens after your Turkish language trip?
At the end of the trip, you can sit at a cafe, go over what you did, what you have learned or what grammar points, words and expressions you had difficulty in.
Your Turkish teacher will explain you briefly.
If you need more work, your teacher will send you Turkish worksheets or lessons for self-study.
How to buy hours for your ISTANBUL Language Trips
